Xiaobao Geng

Xiaobao Geng, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in engineering and research roles. From 2017 until the present, Xiaobao has worked at TE Connectivity, starting as a R&D/Product Development Engineer and progressing to Senior and Staff roles. Currently, Xiaobao holds the position of Principal Field Application Engineer. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2017, Xiaobao worked as a Battery Engineer at Hybrid Design Services Inc. Previously, Xiaobao served as a Research Assistant at Michigan Tech University from 2008 to 2015.

Xiaobao Geng, Ph.D. has a diverse educational background rooted in the field of engineering. Xiaobao earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Shanxi University in the years 2000-2004. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, Xiaobao then obtained a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Peking University in the years 2005-2008. Displaying a strong commitment to their field, Xiaobao further expanded their expertise by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering at Michigan Technological University from 2008 to 2015.

In addition to their academic achievements, Xiaobao Geng has also obtained additional certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In January 2020, they became a Functional Safety Certified Automotive Engineer through TUV Nord. Furthermore, in August 2013, Xiaobao attained the certification of Certificated LABVIEW Associate Developer from National Instruments. These additional certifications exemplify Xiaobao's dedication to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of their field.
