Tarik Shibley

Lead Designer at TE3CO

Tarik Shibley has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Tarik began their career as a Mechanical Auto Cad Technician at GRUNDFOS in 2009, where they designed fire pump packages. Tarik then worked as an Assistant Project Manager at GRUNDFOS, where they trained and guided new drafters in design development and assisted project managers with resubmittals and document control.

In 2013, Tarik joined National Oilwell Varco as a Mechanical Designer, where they implemented new CAD platforms and product lifecycle management software. Tarik led design projects for the Dynamic Oil Recovery skid package utilizing hydrocyclone technology.

In 2015, Tarik moved to FMC Technologies as a Designer II. Tarik expanded their skills by utilizing new CAD software and was responsible for creating models and drawings for R&D projects within a strict budget and timeline.

From 2017 to 2018, Tarik worked at Royal Staffing Services (CNM Wireless) as an Installation Manager. Tarik started in sales and quickly progressed to Special Projects and management roles. Tarik developed, proposed, and managed installations for business-to-business communication solutions and established standards for the installation quotation process.

In 2019, Tarik joined TechnipFMC as a Designer, where they were challenged with surface equipment research and development. Tarik worked on introducing flexible piping to frac pads by collaborating with internal groups.

Most recently, in 2019, Tarik became the Lead Designer at TE3CO.

Tarik Shibley completed their education at the University of Houston, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a field of study in Mechanical Engineering. Tarik attended the university from an unknown start year until 2020. Prior to that, Tarik attended Houston Community College from 2007 to 2009. During their time at HCC, they earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design Technology with a specialization in Mechanical Design. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Computer-Aided Drafting/Design Piping Specialization from the same institution.
