Emily Craig has a diverse range of work experience in graphic design and creative roles. Emily was a Creative Director at Tea Collection from January 2020 onwards. Prior to that, they were an Art Director at Tea Collection from August to December 2019. Emily worked at ModCloth from October 2013 to July 2019, starting as a Graphic Designer and later becoming a Senior Designer responsible for digital marketing design. Emily also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Ritual Coffee Roasters from December 2015 to December 2018, creating graphics and redesigning packaging. At Polyvore, they worked as a Graphic Designer from September 2011 to October 2013 and was involved in branding and design for the social commerce company. Earlier in their career, they held design positions at Chronicle Books, Language in Common, California Academy of Sciences, Sputnik, and MINE™, where they gained valuable experience in publishing, non-profit, and intern roles.
Emily Craig obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from the California College of the Arts, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. In 2007, they attended the Schule für Gestaltung Basel for a short duration, focusing on Design. Prior to their enrollment at the California College of the Arts, Emily studied Political Science at Lewis & Clark College from 2003 to 2005.
