Emily Commander

Emily Commander is the Executive Director of People and Governance at Teach First, where they are accountable for the Charity's performance and governance model. With a rich background in public policy and governance, they have previously served as Head of Governance at the University of Bath and as a Political Consultant. Emily has extensive experience in parliamentary roles, including their work as Clerk of the Public Administration Select Committee and as Deputy Head in the Scrutiny Unit at the House of Commons. They hold an M.Phil in English from the University of Oxford and a BA in English from the University of Cambridge.
