Mark Gibson

Mark Gibson has a diverse work experience history. Mark started their career as a Research Student at the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust in 2006. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Science Teacher at Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School. In 2010, they joined Teach First as a Leadership Development Officer and eventually progressed to the role of Senior Leadership Development Officer from 2013 to 2017. Mark then became the Initial Teacher Development Manager for a brief period in 2017 before taking on the role of Regional Manager - Programmes until 2020. In 2021, they became the Programme Support Manager, managing a large team and overseeing teacher training and the Early Career Framework. Currently, Mark is the Head of Programme Data and Reporting at Teach First since January 2024.

Mark Gibson graduated from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology. Mark later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Warwick, which they completed in 2011.
