Nicola Townson

Nicola Townson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present day. Nicola began their career as a Recruitment Consultant at Oscar Associates in October 2010 and worked in that role until September 2011. From August 2011 to November 2012, they were a Resourcing Assistant at DWF, where they provided administrative and organizational support to the Recruitment Team, overseeing entry-level and volume recruitment. Subsequently, they worked as a Recruitment Officer at DWF from November 2012 to September 2013, and then as a Resourcing Project Officer from October 2013 to May 2014.

In 2014, Nicola joined Bond Offshore Helicopters, where they served as a Resourcing Business Partner from May 2014 to March 2016. In March 2016, they briefly worked as a Resourcing Advisor at BLM before transitioning to Teach First in July 2016. At Teach First, Nicola held various roles, including Recruitment Officer - Experienced Hires from July 2016 to July 2018, Recruitment Strategy, Performance, and Projects Manager from July 2018 to August 2022, and currently serves as the Head of Recruitment Operations since July 2022.

Nicola Townson attended Durham University from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a degree in European Legal Studies with a focus on Law. Prior to that, they attended St Bede's RC High from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, Nicola obtained a certification in Occupational Testing Level A from SHL in the year 2012.
