Jean Doyle currently holds the position of Vice President of Government Affairs at Teach For America, a role started in January 2017, where strategic counsel is provided to the CEO, managing outreach to Congress and the Administration, and overseeing a team of three government affairs professionals. Prior to this, Jean served as Legislative Director for Senator Barbara Mikulski from January 2011 to December 2016, managing a team of ten policy staffers and developing legislative priorities. Jean's experience also includes working in the U.S. House of Representatives for over a decade in various roles, including Legislative Director, Appropriations Associate, and District Representative for Representative Nita M. Lowey, along with early career positions such as Legislative Correspondent for Representative Steven Rothman. Jean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fordham University, obtained from 1995 to 1999.
