Judith Gail Williams

Judith Gail Williams is an experienced educator with a strong background in science teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Recruiting Coordinator at Teach for America since January 2010, Judith interviews and assists in hiring innovative teachers for low-income areas. Judith's extensive teaching career spans several school districts, including Newport News City Public Schools since 1993, where various science subjects such as Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science are taught. Previous roles include positions at Hampton City Public Schools, Greene County Public Schools, Charlottesville Public Schools, and Newport News Public Schools, demonstrating a consistent commitment to science education and involvement in curriculum development and principal committees. Judith holds a Master of Education in Science Education from William & Mary and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, and Math from Virginia Commonwealth University.
