Julia Schmidt

Julia Schmidt currently serves as the Managing Director of Leadership Gifts at Teach For America, having held various roles within the organization since October 2017, including Director and Manager of Individual Giving. Prior to this, Julia Schmidt participated in the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders In Public Service (FELPS) program at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and completed an internship at Change for Kids. Julia Schmidt's experience also includes two years as an English and Language Arts Teacher at Duval County Public Schools, selected from over 44,000 applicants to join a national service corps dedicated to teaching in under-resourced schools. Julia Schmidt holds an Honors Bachelor of Applied Science degree with dual certification in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Delaware.
