Kyra McGee

Kyra McGee is an 8th Grade Teacher at Teach For America since August 2022, leveraging a diverse background in mentorship and healthcare. Previously, Kyra served as a Student Mentor with Big Brother Big Sister Foundation, Inc. from November 2018 to May 2022 and held internships at Rush University Medical Center in Outpatient Psychiatry and Mother-Baby programs between June 2019 and August 2021. Additionally, Kyra contributed as a Cardiology Clinical Research Assistant at Penn Medicine from September 2019 to June 2021 and gained experience as an intern with After School Matters from June 2014 to August 2018, focusing on the Creative Writing program. Kyra holds a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, completed in 2022, and graduated from Whitney M Young Magnet High School in 2018.
