Melodie Potts Rosevear OAM has a diverse range of work experience. Melodie is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Teach For Australia, where they provide strategic direction and oversees day-to-day operations. Prior to this, Melodie worked at Cape York Partnership as a Think Tank Coordinator, contributing to the advancement of the organization's reform agenda through policy research and community engagement. Melodie was also a founding staff member at the Cape York Institute for Policy and Leadership. Before their time at Cape York, Melodie worked as a Management Consultant at BCG-THE BOSTON CONSULTING GROUP SC.

Melodie Potts Rosevear OAM has a diverse education history. In 1997, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their undergraduate studies, they focused on a double major in Economics and Public Policy, completing their degree in 2001. Following their bachelor's degree, Melodie furthered their educational journey at the Harvard Kennedy School from 2006 to 2008. Here, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy. In 2019, Melodie attended the Harvard Business School for Executive Education, specializing in Strategic Perspectives in Non-profit Management.
