Swetha Balakrishnan

Swetha leads the Fellowship Recruitment team at Teach For India. She first joined the Teach For India Fellowship in 2012 and taught Grades 3 4 in a government school in Pune. Thereon, she worked as a Program Manager in Pune, where she trained secondary Fellows and set up the secondary ecosystem of support. She went on to work as Chief of Staff where besides supporting organizational governance, she led the Kids Education Revolution team. Thereafter, she had a brief stint in impact investing with Elevar Equity before returning to Teach For India in the current capacity. Swetha holds a masters in International Logistics Management & Engineering from Jacobs University Bremen in Germany.
