Mariana Gheorghe

Mariana Gheorghe is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in governance and management across various sectors. Currently, Mariana serves as the Co-founder and board member of the Future Of Leadership Institute and the Board President of Teach for Romania, while also holding a position as an Advisory Council Member at Academia de Studii Economice din București. Mariana has a strong background in supervision, having been a Non-executive Director at ING Group and ING Bank, as well as an Independent Non-executive Director at ContourGlobal plc. Prior roles include key leadership positions at OMV Petrom in various capacities, including Chief Executive Officer of OMV Petrom Marketing SRL. Mariana's earlier experience includes serving as an International Banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Deputy General Director at the Ministry of Finance Romania. Academic qualifications include degrees from Academia de Studii Economice din București and the University of Bucharest, along with participation in the Corporate Finance Program at the London Business School.
