Dilan A. Pedraza is an accomplished education policy professional with extensive experience in legislative advocacy and educational equity. Currently serving as National Policy Director at Teach Plus, Dilan has held multiple roles including Federal Policy Manager and National Policy Specialist since January 2021. Previous experience includes a Legislative Fellow position at the United States Senate and teaching over 500 eighth-grade students while implementing culturally relevant lesson plans at Teach For America. Dilan co-founded the National DACA Advisory Board, influencing institutional practices to better support undocumented students. Additionally, Dilan's early career includes roles as a Legal Advocate at Immigrants Rising and as a CREWS Leader at the East Bay College Fund, emphasizing mentorship and community outreach. Dilan holds a degree in Political Science and Business from California State University, Chico.
