Daniel Pifko

Daniel Pifko has a long history of work experience, beginning in 1996 at Palm Computing as a Product Manager and Developer Technical Support Manager. In 1999, they moved to AvantGo, where they were a Senior Product Manager and founder and board member of the Mobile Application Link Forum. From 2002 to 2003, they were a Product Management Consultant. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at Mobile Digital Media, Inc. as the Director of Product Management and Wireless. From 2005 to 2007, they were the Director of Product Management and Director of Commerce at Digital Chocolate. From 2007 to 2009, they were the Co-Founder and CEO and Head of Product at SocialNav. From 2009 to 2017, they were the General Manager of North America at Inventhys. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, they were the VP of North America at WakeCap Technologies.

Daniel Pifko has an educational background in engineering. Daniel completed a B.A.Sc. in Systems Design from the University of Waterloo and went on to pursue master-level engineering studies in Computer Vision and 3D Image Scanning at the University of Victoria. Daniel also holds several certifications, including a Forks Over Knives Plant-Based Certification from the Rouxbe Online Culinary School obtained in September 2021, a California Food Handler Certificate from Premier Food Safety obtained in June 2019, a Remote Pilot Certificate with sUAS Rating (Part 107) from the FAA obtained in October 2016, an Advanced Hang Glider Pilot (H4) from the United States Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association, Inc., and a Private Pilot Licence from Transport Canada.
