Insights Analyst at Teach Starter

Karl Black has been working in various roles since 2009. Karl started as a Finance and Management Student at Bond University in 2009, then went on to become a Project Leader at Bond SIFE in 2010. In 2011, they founded and became the Convenor of Learn to LEAD, a personal development and leadership program for high school students. In 2012, they held three roles at AIME, including DataOps, Program Manager, and Program Assistant (Data & Operations). That same year, they were also the Vice President (HR & Recruitment) at Enactus Bond University. Since 2009, they have also been working at Karl and Jacqui Creative as a Photographer/Videographer, where they have done a wide array of photography for various clients as well as design work including logos, web-based graphics and printed media. In 2022, they began working as an Insights Analyst at Teach Starter.

Karl Black has an extensive education history. Karl obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University in 2012, having studied Finance and Management from 2009 to 2012. In 2013, they completed a course in History and Theory of Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a course in CS-191 Qubits, Quantum Mechanics and Computers at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, they attended St Michael's College from 2004 to 2008. Karl also holds certifications from the Australian Securities and Investment Commission, the Bloomberg Institute, and Morningstar.
