Sarah Christensen

Co-founder | Creative Director and Illustrator at Teach Ted

Sarah Christensen has extensive work experience in the field of graphic design. Sarah is currently employed as a Senior Graphic Designer at Transport for NSW since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Co-founder, Creative Director, and Illustrator at Teach Ted, where they collaborated with the Children's Hospital at Westmead to create a storybook that helps children cope with medical procedures. Sarah also founded their own design company, Sarah Christensen Design, in 2009, where they specialized in developing creative design solutions for various businesses. Sarah managed projects from conceptualization to completion and worked directly with clients, copywriters, web developers, photographers, and printers to ensure smooth project execution. Sarah was also a Co-founder and Illustrator at sSquared Workshop and a Senior Designer at Rethink Studios, where they created and maintained brand designs across print and online media. In addition, they worked as a Senior Designer at Equation Corporate Design, where they managed print and web projects and trained staff. Sarah began their career as a Freelance Designer at Ajah Design and subsequently worked as a Mid-weight Designer at CreativeHQ, Kannegieter & Jackson, and Robert Richards Design.

Sarah Christensen attended St George Girls High School from 1991 to 1995, where they completed their HSC. Sarah then went on to study at Sydney Graphics College from 1996 to 1998, earning a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.
