Teach Western Mass
Danielle Bellefeuille is an experienced educator currently serving as an 8th Grade Math Teacher at The Springfield Renaissance School since August 2020 and as a Resident at Teach Western Mass since April 2020. Prior to these roles, Danielle worked at Lafayette College, first as the MOSAIC Coordinator, where responsibilities included organizing a tutoring program and managing America Reads tutors. Danielle also contributed to the institution as an America Reads Tutor, an Animal Care Technician providing care for various research animals, and a Sports Medicine Assistant, supporting athletic trainers. As a research assistant as part of the EXCEL Scholar program, Danielle assisted in studies on hearing loss and zebrafish. Additional experience includes leadership as a Program Leader for WorldStrides and service as a Circulation Desk Assistant at Lafayette College's library. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lafayette College, graduated in 2020, and attended Wilbraham & Monson Academy from 2012 to 2016.

Teach Western Mass is a new partnership that aims to connect students in high-needs schools with excellent teachers. Teach Western Mass is a collaboration between Holyoke Public Schools and the Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership, with funding from the Davis Foundation and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
