Alison Buki

Alison Buki has a diverse work experience. Alison has worked as a Software Engineer at Teachable since December 2019. Prior to that, they were a Frontend Developer at The Atlantic from July 2018 to December 2019. Alison also has experience in UX/UI design and development, having worked as a UX Designer/Developer at the Society for Science & the Public from March 2017 to July 2018, and as a Freelance UX/UI Designer/Developer from January 2015 to June 2017. Additionally, they worked as a UI/UX Developer & Designer at Owen Software Development Corporation from August 2016 to March 2017. Earlier in their career, Alison worked as a Communications and Outreach Manager at Meridian Hill Pictures from February 2014 to August 2015, and as a Communications Manager at The Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy from May 2012 to December 2013. Alison started their career as a Staff Writer and Marketing Assistant at the American Society for Engineering Education from August 2009 to May 2012, and as a Student Assistant at Stanford University Visual Resources Center from September 2006 to August 2008.

Alison Buki's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film and Media Studies from Stanford University. In 2013, they attended the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University, focusing on Graphic Design. Alison also pursued further education in Front-End Web Development and Visual Design at General Assembly in 2015. In 2016, they enrolled at General Assembly again to study JavaScript Development.
