Bia Frenkel

Bia Frenkel's work experience includes being a Product Designer at Teachable since May 2022. Bia is also a Product Design Mentor for AIGA New York's Early Career Mentorship program, providing guidance to new graduates in Product/UX Design. Bia previously worked as a Product Designer for The Muse from June 2021 to June 2022, where they supported over 75 million individuals in their career pursuits. Additionally, they have freelanced as a Product Designer for various startups since 2019, assisting with product strategy and design solutions. Bia also held positions as a Product Designer at YieldX from January 2020 to June 2021, and in Growth at Outbrain from May 2019 to December 2019. Prior to transitioning into design, Bia worked in marketing roles at Amino Apps and Guidepoint. Bia was a Marketing Manager, focusing on partnerships, content, and influencer marketing at Amino Apps from November 2018 to May 2019, and an Associate Marketing Manager specializing in partnerships and influencer marketing from February 2018 to November 2018. Bia's early career involved being a Strategic Research Analyst at Guidepoint, where they conducted industry research and facilitated connections between subject matter experts and clients. Before entering the professional field, Bia worked as a History Teacher at Cefet-RJ from 2015 to 2017.

Bia Frenkel has a diverse educational background in various fields. Bia has pursued User-Centered Design at Parsons School of Design - The New School and completed a Bootcamp in UX Design / Product Design at the Flatiron School. Additionally, Bia holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Museum Studies from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Moreover, Bia has obtained a Teacher's Certificate (Licenciatura) from the same institution. Bia also possesses a certification in Web Accessibility obtained from Udacity in September 2020.
