Barbara Pugliese

Barbara Pugliese is the Chief Financial Officer for the Stanford Alumni Association where she oversees finance, business planning, and administrative functions and manages the Travel/Study, Membership and Partnership, and Stanford Sierra programs. Prior to joining Stanford, she served as COO for a social services agency providing mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence prevention services in Santa Clara county and as CFO for a start-up high school. Before entering the non-profit arena, she focused on corporate strategy and finance as a consultant at Marakon Associates and as a director at Vodafone Airtouch. She holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury College and an M.S., Management from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.
