Greg Meehan is the Paul A. Violich Director of Women’s Swimming at Stanford. With six years of experience in this role, he has been named NCAA Swimming Coach of the Year three times, and Pac-12 Coach of the Year four times. Stanford won consecutive national championships in 2017 and 2018 under Meehan, and his Cardinal swimmers have combined for 232 All-America honors. Meehan has led the Cardinal to four undefeated regular seasons and a 47-4 dual meet record. In 2018, Stanford tied the all-time record for NCAA Championship event victories. Beyond Stanford, Meehan coached three Olympians and one Paralympian, and served Team USA as an assistant coach at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Meehan is a coach for the 2021 Team USA women’s swimming Olympic Team.
