Scott McRoberts

Scott McRoberts is the Director of Athletics at the University of Guelph and founding Associate Director of the International Institute for Sport Business and Leadership in the College of Business and Economics. McRoberts is a respected leader who believes in sport’s power to shape communities and develop individuals of all ages. McRoberts comes to the University of Guelph following previous positions at the University of Toronto, Stanford University, the University of San Francisco, San Jose State University, the City of San Francisco, and the Niagara Sport Commission. McRoberts has spent 16 years in Athletics and Recreation and event management, working towards an integrated vision of student engagement, athletic excellence, and innovative programming. He has led a number of organizations through change and has managed capital infrastructure investments totaling more than $250 million.
