Attila Madarasz is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and project management across various sectors. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Teachers Health since October 2018, Attila has been instrumental in building a high-performing engineering team and implementing significant digital transformation initiatives, including cloud security enhancements and the introduction of CI/CD capabilities. Prior to this role, Attila held several influential positions, including Software Development and Projects Manager at Sentral, where Agile methodologies were introduced, and Senior Contractor/Team Lead at Amadeus, where Agile practices were adopted. Attila’s early career included roles in telecom consultancy, technology leadership, and software development, establishing a strong foundation in object-oriented programming and systems design. Attila holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney.

Teachers Health is a not-for-profit health fund for members of the education community, and their families. We were created by teachers (for teachers) over 60 years ago and are now the largest industry-based health fund in Australia, covering the lives of over 360,000 people. Today, our members include teachers, administration and support staff working in public, private and independent primary and secondary schools, as well as tertiary education. Membership is also open to families of eligible members.
