Lavonne McClain

LaVonne McClain, Ed.D, has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as a Field Supervisor at Teachers of Tomorrow since August 2021. For over two decades, LaVonne has held various roles within Halifax County Schools, including Director of CTE & Secondary Education and Director of Student Information and Accountability, where responsibilities included representing educational programs, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing professional development. Additional roles encompass Assistant Principal, District Testing & Accountability Coordinator, and Elementary Instructional Coach, with a strong focus on instructional leadership and teacher mentorship. LaVonne also served as a Part-Time Adjunct Instructor at Nash Community College. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from Northcentral University, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Elizabeth City State University.
