Walt Wessinger

Walt Wessinger, CPA, currently serves as the Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Teachers of Tomorrow, a position held since May 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Director of FP&A at Varo Bank from June 2023 to May 2025 and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Teachers of Tomorrow from October 2022 to June 2023. Wessinger's extensive background in financial analysis and planning also includes positions at Passport as an FP&A Business Partner and at Cardinal Logistics Management, where roles spanned from Director of Finance to FP&A Manager. Earlier experience includes work as a Senior Financial Analyst at Ross Stores, Inc., and as an Accounting Supervisor and Staff Accountant at Cardinal Logistics Management. Wessinger's foundational experience includes an Accountant role at Carolinas Healthcare System and military service as a Combat Engineer Team Leader in the United States Army Reserve. Wessinger holds an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, as well as a BBA in Accounting from Limestone University.
