Lisa Watry has been an IBM FileNet/Datacap System Administrator at Teachers Retirement System of Georgia since April 2005. Prior to this, Lisa worked as a Software Consultant at Consulting Associates, Inc. for twenty years. Lisa graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Information Systems in 1983.

TRS administers the fund from which teachers in the state’s public schools, many employees of the University System of Georgia, and certain other designated employees in educational-related work environments receive retirement benefits. TRS manages the retirement accounts of over 300,000 non-retired (active) members, and pays a monthly benefit to over 82,000 retired members and survivors. TRS retiree payroll is in excess of 2.5 billion dollars per year.
