Asia Leeds

Asia Leeds, Ph.D., currently serves as the Manager of Business Development at Teaching Lab, starting October 2023. Previously held roles include Partnerships Manager at Wutiko and Sr. Business Development Representative at YOOBIC. Asia’s extensive academic background includes nearly a decade at Spelman College as a Professor of International Studies and Co-Director of the African Diaspora Studies program, where significant achievements included tripling enrollment and winning grants to enhance curriculum. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA and being a Fulbright/IIE Fellow. Asia obtained a Ph.D. in African Diaspora Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed a professional development program at Uvaro in 2021.
