Steve Evangelista

Steve Evangelista currently serves as a Senior Education Consultant at Teaching Matters, where approximately 200 faculty members received coaching, resulting in a 100% satisfaction rate from school principals. Previously, Steve held the position of Summer School Principal at the Public Preparatory Network for a unique summer program for grades 3-8. At Harlem Link Charter School, Steve was the Co-Executive Director for nearly two decades, navigating transitions and fostering a collaborative culture, while also founding the Start to Finish Program to support students from birth through college. This initiative led to a 72% college enrollment rate among alumni and strong connections with graduates. Steve's early career includes roles as a Fellow at Building Excellent Schools and as a teacher for the NYC Department of Education. Steve holds an AB in Psychology from Georgetown University and a Master's in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education.
