Matt Harsha-Strong

Matt Harsha-Strong is a seasoned finance executive currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Teaching Strategies, LLC since October 2025. Prior to this role, Matt held the CFO position at Uplight from October 2022 to October 2025, where oversight of a 20+ person team was key to the company's operations in energy software. From March 2011 to October 2022, Matt was involved with The AES Corporation, initially as Senior Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis, later advancing to Senior Manager of Corporate Planning & Development, and ultimately leading the Mergers & Acquisitions division as Managing Director. Earlier career experience includes the role of Program Officer for Public-Private Partnerships at the Millennium Challenge Corporation from January 2007 to March 2011. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree from Yale University and an MBA from The Wharton School.
