Beverly Yoakum

Beverly Yoakum is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Head of School at RAISE Christian Academy since May 2023. Previously, Beverly worked as a Data Collection CLASS Evaluation specialist at Teachstone, EVMS, Minus 9-5 from August 2021 to March 2024, focusing on data acquisition and educator feedback sessions. From April 2018 to May 2021, Beverly directed Hope Academy, transforming a half-day preschool into a full-service educational institution. As the Director of Children's Programming at Trinity Church from February 2016 to April 2018, oversight was provided for children's programs across five campuses. Beverly founded Wesley Taylor Preparatory School in 1989, evolving it from a home daycare into a thriving educational establishment. Additional entrepreneurial experience includes ownership of Rockin’ Fish Christian Music Café from 2003 to 2008. Beverly also contributed as a part-time instructor at Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences-Education from Ohio University.
