Assaf Klein

Assaf Klein has extensive experience in AI and data science, currently serving as VP of AI and Data Science at Teads since May 2025. Prior to this role, Assaf held the position of VP of AI and Data Science at Outbrain from May 2015 to June 2025, where responsibilities included managing a diverse team to develop a state-of-the-art Click Through Rate (CTR) prediction system and leveraging machine learning and NLP techniques for scalable algorithm development. Earlier experience includes serving as Data Science NLP Team Leader at Thomson Reuters, leading algorithm development at Verix, and contributing as a teaching assistant at Ben Gurion University. Assaf holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
