Chinmay Kundapur is an Associate Engineer in the Airframe department at Airbus since March 2023, following a tenure as an intern in the same area. Chinmay has been involved with Team Antariksh since May 2020, serving as a Fluid Subsystem Engineer for RVSAT1 and holding the position of Chief Subsystem Engineer, Fluids. Additionally, Chinmay has been a Student Affiliate at the Royal Aeronautical Society from April 2021 to June 2023 and a Student Member of the Space Generation Advisory Council from February 2020 to May 2023. Chinmay gained research experience through internships at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and the Indian Institute of Science from January to November 2022. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from RV College of Engineering (2019-2023), a Pre-University College science degree from CES Vidyaniketan PU Science College (2017-2019), and a Madhyama Poorna in Vocal Music from Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal.

Team Antariksh

Started off as an interdisciplinary team in 2015, Team Antariksh has adopted it's name from the Sanskrit equivalent, which means ‘space’. Team Antariksh has been constantly learning and testing it's skills in every aspect of building a nano-satellite. The team has been working every day with an inspiration to turn the dream that started in 2015 into a reality and has been constantly guided and monitored by various scientists and from U R Rao Satellite Centre, ISRO (Formerly known as ISRO Satellite Centre) and faculty from RVCE. Team members have shown keen interest in taking the ambitious satellite program of India to a new height. The team started off with an unrivaled passion and believe that we can revolutionize the field of space research in India with the right guidance and support. Keeping this is as the goal, we at Team Antariksh hopes to get a positive response from you to help us put satellite into the orbit. The team has also ventured into a another domain of space technology, sounding rockets. We aim to participate in Spaceport America Cup and test out mettle in building and launching sounding rockets to suborbital altitudes.
