John Carney

John Carney has had a long and varied career. John began in 1987 when they enlisted in the Army National Guard as an enlisted helicopter mechanic and infantry officer. In 1989, they began working for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America as the Director of Information Technology. In 1994, they co-founded Carney Inc and served as the CEO. In 2000, they became a member of the Board of Directors for the Tanzania Education Fund Inc. Finally, in 2011 they founded MARi, a personal analytics platform for school and career, and serves as the CEO.

John Carney attended North Carolina State University from 1982 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communications/PR.
