Keala was born and raised on Oahu and is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama. He is a 30-year veteran of hospitality housekeeping management, and has earned a reputation as a leader, innovator, and entrepreneur. In addition to being the owner-operator of Team Clean Inc., Keala is the founder of the Professional Cleaning Institute of Hawai‘i and co-founder of both the Ho‘okipa Workforce Academy and the HLTA Hospitality Housekeeping Council. He has earned certifications in Executive Housekeeping and Rooms Management through University of Hawaii. He has also held Board positions with the National and Hawai‘i Chapter of IEHA, Oahu Workforce Investment Board, and Family Programs Hawai‘i.
