John Lambert has over 25 years of experience in the field of network engineering and information security. John began their career in 1994 as Deputy and Chief of Network Operations for the United States Air Force. In 2000, they were promoted to Chief of Network Operations, where they led a staff of 22 technicians and managed an infrastructure of 2000+ users and $8M in assets. In 2003, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Senior Field Engineer and Information Security Officer, where they served as the site lead and principle engineer for the CENTCOM Middle East AOR. From 2011 to 2015, they worked for BAE Systems as a Senior Systems & Network Engineer and IS Security Officer for the PACOM AOR. From 2015 to 2018, they worked for both Femme Comp, Inc. and THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. as a Network Engineer. In 2018, they joined Technology, Automation, and Management (TeAM), Inc. as Lead Network Engineer.
John Lambert has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from Angelo State University, obtained between 1991 and 1994. John also has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from George Mason University, obtained between 2004 and 2005. In addition, John Lambert has obtained several certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate Cyber Ops (CCNA) from Cisco in August 2017, Brocade Certified Network Professional (BCNP) from Brocade in December 2015, Cisco Certified Network Associate - Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Cisco in May 2015, Certified Computer Information Security Officer (C|CISO) from EC-Council, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, Cisco Certified Network Associate Cyber Ops (CCNA) from Cisco, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer + Security (MCSE+Security) from Microsoft, Network+ from CompTIA, and Security+ from CompTIA.
