Desiree Fonseca

Desiree Fonseca is an accomplished leader in process improvement and systems engineering, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Revenue Solutions at TeamHealth since July 2018. With a strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Fonseca has effectively led initiatives to enhance the Healthcare Financial Revenue Cycle and clinical customer journeys. Prior to TeamHealth, Fonseca held significant roles at NextEra Energy Services, Anda, Inc. (now Teva), and Avisena, where expertise in identifying process gaps and implementing improvements resulted in substantial cost reductions and efficiency gains. Fonseca's earlier experience includes project management and operations analysis at TracFone Wireless and internships focused on business analysis at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Fonseca holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Florida International University, a Bachelor’s in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and several professional certifications, including a Six Sigma Black Belt.
