Cassie McGovern

Cassie McGovern is a respected figure in the drowning prevention community, particularly in Florida. As an Account Manager at Every Child a Swimmer since February 2022, McGovern continues to advocate for water safety. In addition, McGovern is the founder of the McGovern Foundation, Inc., established in September 2009, which includes initiatives such as the Water Safety Symposium of Florida, Water Safety Kits for parents and caregivers, and Teen Advocacy Clubs. Previously, McGovern served as the Drowning Prevention Program Manager for the Department of Health from March 2014 to July 2021, where leadership was provided for all drowning prevention efforts in Broward County.
