Gene Nikstad

Gene Nikstad has a diverse work experience in various companies. Gene started their career in 1987 as the Manager of Procurement Quality at ABB Lummus, where they worked until 2004. Gene then joined Jacobs Engineering as the Southern Region Procurment and Construction Quality Manager from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they worked at CH2M as the Director of Procurement from 2007 to 2011. Gene then moved on to CH2MHILL, where they held various roles such as Director of Quality in the Energy and Chemicals Business Group, Director of Project Services and Quality, and Vice President of Project Services & Quality. Gene worked at CH2MHILL until 2014. After that, they worked at CB&I as the Director of Procurement Americas, where they implemented a structured sourcing program and developed a supply strategy for major projects. Gene then joined D & C Inspection Services, Inc. as Sales and Marketing/Education role, supporting sales, growth, and education programs. Currently, they are the Vice President at TEAM Industries, Inc. since 2018.

From 1978 to 1980, Gene Nikstad attended Northwood Technical College, where they pursued a degree in Welding Technology. Then, from 1980 to 1983, they continued their education at Odessa College, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Gene obtained the NDT Level III certification from the American Society of Nondestructive Testing in February 2001. Gene also became an AWS Certified Welding Inspector through the American Welding Society in January 1987.
