Sophie Shemas

Sophie Shemas is a versatile professional with extensive experience in partnerships management and strategic communications. Currently serving as Partnerships Manager at Team Liquid since June 2021, Sophie previously held the role of Partnerships Coordinator. Prior experience includes working as a Digital Strategist at EARTHWORKS, where Sophie managed social media and multi-channel marketing strategies, and as Program Coordinator for the Dean of Students at the University of New Mexico, where Sophie led student support projects and developed marketing campaigns. Before that, as a Public Lands Fellow at the New Mexico Wildlife Federation, Sophie engaged in legislative advocacy and community collaboration. Sophie's career began at the University of Cincinnati, providing support in the University Honors Program and conducting undergraduate research in biological sciences. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Cincinnati, complemented by minors in Biology and Anthropology.
