Kassim Tarraf has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Kassim started their career as a Nurse Assistant at SHG-Kliniken Sonnenberg from 2013 to 2016, where they conducted routine checks on patient vitals and assisted with personal care. Kassim then worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Barclay Physical Therapy, Heartland Health Care Center-Allen Park, and STAR Rehab from 2018 to 2020, where they recorded patient progress, contributed to care plans, and provided patient education. In 2020, they transitioned to an Administrative Assistant role at STAR Rehab, where they organized and maintained document management systems. Currently, Kassim is employed at TEAM WELLNESS CENTER, starting as a Care Coordinator in 2021, then becoming a Site Supervisor in 2022, and currently serving as the Clinic Director.
Kassim Tarraf completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Baker College in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Physical Therapy/Therapist from the same institution in 2018. Kassim also attended the Universität des Saarlandes from 2010 to 2015, where they pursued studies in Medicine. In 2006, they completed studies in Biochemistry at the Lebanese University - Faculty of Sciences.

Team Wellness Center is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals by providing an array of comprehensive behavioral and physical health services in a trauma informed environment that promotes quality of life, continuous improvement, social awareness and healing. It is our goal to be the premier provider of integrated primary care and mental health services. We will accomplish this goal by maintaining high service scores while continually pursuing new and innovative business technological that will further benefit our members in support of their recovery and long term success. Since 2002, Team Wellness Center has been providing exceptional services and care to adult members with severe and chronic mental illness in Southeast Michigan. Our two clinics serve over 4750 unique members each year. We are proud of our CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accreditation and we have held this distinction since 2003. At Team Wellness Center, we understand the importance of good mental health and quality of life. Stress, depression and severe mental illness can happen to anyone. We are proud to offer an outstanding selection of mental health care services in a variety of settings. All mental health care services, programs and groups are provided using the person centered planning process. Our individualized treatment plans are available for both short- and long-term mental health problems.
