Paul Kim

Dr. Paul Kim is the Associate Dean and Chief Technology Officer of the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University where he leads initiatives in learning technology design, educational research and community development.

Prior to this, he founded Seeds of Employment, a non-profit global education incubator that leverages mobile technologies for social innovation. Under his direction and leadership, Stanford undergraduate and graduate students carried out mobile-social educational research and development in real-world classrooms and virtual learning environments.

Dr. Kim is also dedicated to international development through education and information technology strategies. He has advised on national online education initiatives in Saudi Arabia, the national evaluation of Uruguay’s One Laptop Per Child project. He also served on various boards and advisory committees, including the Asian Development Bank, the National Academies of Science, and the National Science Foundation’s Education and Human Resources Directorate.
