Asaf Azulay

VP, Marketing at Team8

Asaf Azulay is the current VP of Marketing at Team8 and previous Chief Marketing Officer of Bank Hapoalim, Israel’s largest and most prominent bank. Asaf is a data-driven and customer-centric marketing executive and business leader who has executed large-scale projects and led transformative initiatives that rapidly grow multi-billion-dollar brands and businesses.

As the CMO of Bank Hapoalim, Asaf was a Board of Director’s member and managed a team of more than 50 employees to run all B2B and B2C marketing activities. This included leading four marketing departments - Digital Marketing and Digital Sales, Marketing-Communications, and Advertising, Strategic Marketing, and Loyalty Plan.

Along with designing and executing the Bank’s marketing strategy and overseeing the “bit” payment app strategy and execution (one of the most downloaded apps with the highest NPS scoring in Israel), Asaf was also in charge of managing the bank’s reputational risks, and taking measures to preserve fairness towards the Bank’s clients.

In 2020, immediately following the Abraham Peace Treaty Accords declaration, Asaf, on behalf of Bank Hapoalim and in collaboration with the Israeli Export Institute, led the largest business delegation in history from Israel to the United Emirates and Bahrain.

Azulay has been appointed, alongside Karen Mazor, as the Bank’s Relationship Development Representative vis-à-vis the UAE and Bahrain.

Asaf Azulay attended the Hebrew Reali School.
