Katrien Baert

Katrien Baert is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in statistical analysis and biostatistics. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Teamleader since March 2018, Katrien previously held the position of Group Leader in Biometrics & Breeding Research at Bayer Crop Science from March 2011 to February 2018, and worked as a Biostatistician in that organization. Earlier in the career, Katrien was a Statistician at Stat Gent Crescendo and a Blue Book Trainee with the European Commission, where statistical analyses were conducted on EU healthcare data. Katrien holds an Advanced Master in Statistical Data Analysis from Ghent University, a Master's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Oulu, and a Master in Applied Mathematics from Ghent University. Additionally, Katrien has contributed to the publication "Statistics in Focus."
