Carlos Dietrich

Carlos helped to develop both the Statcast player tracking system and an umpire training tool for MLB. As a research scientist at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, he was responsible for the design and development of tools for information visualization and sports data analysis. He earned his PHD Cum Laude at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil.
