Elektra Babian

Elektra Babian is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in both teaching and technical development. Currently serving as Software Engineer II at Teamshares since May 2021, Elektra previously held the role of Software Engineer Instructional Associate at General Assembly, where responsibilities included teaching students software engineering, data structures, and object-oriented programming. Elektra completed a rigorous full-stack program as a Software Engineer Fellow at General Assembly in 2020. Earlier experience includes roles as a Front-End Web Development Contractor at pymetrics, where technical direction for website updates was provided, and a Marketing Intern focused on user acquisition from underrepresented demographics. Additional roles include Production Assistant at Martin Schoeller, LLC, and various internships in creative and analytical fields. Educational background includes studies at Bard College and General Assembly.
