Michael Tsai

Michael Tsai currently serves as Director of Valuations at Teamshares since January 2022. Previously, Michael held the position of Vice President - Portfolio Valuations (Technical Valuation Lead) at SoftBank Investment Advisers from February 2019 to September 2020, where Michael led the valuation of Vision Fund investments exceeding $10 billion, primarily in the eCommerce and Autonomous Vehicle sectors. Prior experience includes Vice President - Complex Securities at Duff & Phelps from January 2011 to February 2019, managing approximately 100 client engagements annually, with a focus on derivatives and complex financial instruments. Michael began a career in finance as a Quantitative Research Intern at The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America in mid-2010. Michael earned a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2010 and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (Applied Sciences) and Management Science from UC San Diego in 2009.
