Ellie Baptista currently serves as the Global Outreach and Investigator Sponsored Trials Manager at GE HealthCare, a role initiated in April 2024. Concurrently, Ellie has been an Adviser for operations at TeamSportz.Pro since January 2019, contributing to the startup's mission of transforming the sports industry through AI. Prior experience includes a Senior Research Manager position at UCL's Institute of Global Health, overseeing multi-phase clinical trials in East Africa, and a Research Programme Manager role at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, managing significant community trials and a DFID-funded research consortium. Ellie has held various roles in fundraising and project management with organizations including the National Literacy Trust and the British Red Cross. Ellie holds a postgraduate certificate in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and advanced degrees in development and fine art from King's College London and London Metropolitan University, respectively.
