Lenora Hume

After a successful early career in cinematography with Nelvana, Lenora switched to producing, overseeing The Care Bears Movie, Canada’s top-grossing film of 1985 and winning an Emmy® for Beetlejuice and a Gemini Award for Babar. Working at the The Walt Disney Company for 17 years Lenora quickly rose to Senior VP of Worldwide Production at Walt Disney Television Animation and theatrical features with DisneyToon Studios. In 2006, she was recruited by HiT Entertainment (UK) to refresh some of the world’s most successful pre-school brands including Thomas & Friends and to prep the company for a sale. Lenora is an active member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, ASIFA, and on the Advisory Committee of Women in Animation.
