Alison Loperena

Alison Loperena has over 9 years of professional experience in various industries. Alison started their career in 2011 as an Administrative Assistant at True Physical Therapy. In 2012, they worked as a Volunteer Coordination Intern at Monmouth County Park System. From 2013 to 2016, they held the role of Assistant General Manager at Redemption Enterprises and Consulting Intern at Kids Club Kampala. During the same period, they also worked as Assistant Director and Centre Director at Explore Learning. From 2016 to 2019, they were an Enterprise Practitioner at The Challenge and held the roles of COO and Managing Director, CEO at teamtogether. In their roles, they have obtained ISO27001 and B Corp certification, managed 8 employees, delivered training to staff, monitored project delivery cycles, grown centre reputation, and facilitated communication between mentors and permanent staff.

Alison Loperena has a diverse educational background. Alison completed their General Studies at Biotechnology High School from 2008 to 2012. Alison then went on to pursue a BA in Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Salamanca from 2012 to 2013. After that, they studied Middle Eastern Studies at SOAS University of London from 2013 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including a Growth Marketing Programme from Startup Core Strengths in 2021, a Prince2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner from PeopleCert in 2019, and a Pediatric First Aid Certification from St John Ambulance in 2016.
